This is just a brief little post to let you all know that I had a wonderful dinner with Laura, my high school best friend. Her train got in last night at about 6 and I met her and walked her back to my apartment. We had dinner with a friend of mine from the program and then walked around the city for a long time.
We even happened to stumble upon this travel agency that was having some sort of publicity event with free drinks, smoothies, snacks, desserts, and entertainment. So for almost two hours we just hung out at the travel agency watching all these crazy exotic dance performances. It was a spontaneous and super fun night.
Today, to celebrate my success in my exams and to celebrate the coming of fall, I went shopping. I bought some pants (because I really can't get by with just one anymore) and a dress. My wallet definitely didn't need them, but I guess my wardrobe did. I'm very happy with my purchases.
I'm off to Mantova tomorrow with the program for a guided trip. My teacher keeps talking about how it is her favorite little town, so I'm pretty excited to see it. I'll be sure to take lots of pics! Arrividerci!
