Stay in Touch!

Though I am thrilled about being away in Italy for several months, staying in contact with all of you is quite important to me.
For your reference, here are the various ways to contact me while I'm gone:
1. Email - the easiest mode of communication. I have wireless in my apartment, so I'm pretty much always available at my same email address - Virginia.Buckles@gmail.com.
2. Video chat - the most life-like option. If you have gmail too, I'm frequently on gchat and we can vid chat that way. If you don't, get gmail! No, if you don't, I do have a skype account, but I'm not on it frequently, so you should email me first to set up a skype date.
3. Facebook - if you aren't my facebook friend, you probably should be. This is where I'll display most of my pictures from the trip, so check in there. And feel free to leave a loving wall post!
4. Telephone - this is pretty expensive, so should be used only for quick and important contact. The number you should dial if you need to reach me at my apartment is 011 39 051 588 4376. I will also be getting a cell phone in Italy and I'll put that number up as soon as I know it.
5. Letters - if you know me at all, you know this is my favorite way to communicate. Nothing makes me happier than a real, old-fashioned letter. If you are so inclined to make my day and send me one (and I can promise I'll return the favor!), here is the address you should use:

Of course, the most passive option of staying in touch is reading this blog. I'll try and update every two or three days or so. My flight for Italy leaves this Thursday, so I'm off to do some last minute organizing and packing. Ciao!
