First Days

I'm either not totally over my jet-lag or my nerves are shakier than I had supposed. I couldn't fall asleep until almost 2 last night. I think it is probably a combination of both because it always takes me a few days to get my internal clock back on track and my first day of language and history class starts this morning (in just an hour!).

I'm starting to get to know some people of the people in the program besides my housemates. We had a big group welcome dinner last night at this tasty little restaurant in the university section of the city. I was able to chat with some of the people I hadn't already met. Asia and I sat with two kids from Columbia and gave them lots of grief for Emma Watson choosing us over them.

Today is the first day of rugby preseason back at home, so I'm thinking of all my teammates this morning. While I miss you guys terribly, I have to say I'm quite content being here sipping my cappuccino looking out of my window over this ancient city rather than getting ready for those X drills. Seriously though, good luck today Bruno!

My classes begin in just under an hour and we don't know exactly how to get there so I'm going to head out now to make sure I get there on time. Ciao!
